The annual Preservation Photo Contest for 2003 was entitled "Dream House." The challenge was to capture images of their favorite historic homes: the homes they have always wanted to live in or the homes they gaze at whenever they pass by.
Elegant mansions and landmark residences were common subjects, but many of the entrants chose subjects that included a surprising array of residences. Contestants submitted 138 photographs from throughout the state. A fourth of those were from students who were participating in the first student competition.
Photographs submitted in response to the annual Preservation Photo Contest for 2003 entitled "Dream House."
