The Uinta Development Company was incorporated in 1907 as a land development and promotion company and continues in existence today as a subsidiary of the Union Pacific Railroad. Its purpose was to promote land development in the state.
The collection is primarily composed of correspondence for the years 1907 to 1915. Reports are included in with the correspondence. The collection is arranged chronologically and alphabetically.
