George E. Larsen, a World War I veteran, was an active member of the American Legion, Provo Post No. 13. In 1958, Larsen organized and served as the first admiral of the Ute Last Squad, an organization composed of the last remaining Utah veterans of World War I. Membership was limited and could only be extended to those who were already members of the American Legion.
This collection contains American Legion memorabilia, newspaper clippings, and documents surrounding George E. Larsen's organization of the Ute Last Squad.
