Founder of Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics which was established in 1959 in Washington, D.C. By the mid-1960s the institutes operated throughout the United States and several foreign countries. She learned the method by studying naturally rapid readers. She was also a author, composer and teacher.
The collection contains both Wood family and Reading Dynamics (mostly students) photographs.
