Joseph Edward Taylor was born 12 September 1882 in Salt Lake City to Fanny Mulholland and Edward Theodore Taylor. He graduated from Utah State Agricultural College in 1905, and rose to prominence within the business community in Utah. Taylor was one of the founders of the
Taylor married Leuninna Knudsen (1887-1981) in 1909. Together they raised three children.
The collection contains photographs of Mount Olympus Water Company activities and awards from the Panama Pacific International Exposition.
