The Utah Division of State History was an early adopter of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and continues to foster the use of GIS in both historic and archaeological research. While many of History’s GIS datasets are classified as protected under the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA) many are not and should be readily available to the public. Below are current GIS datasets built by History’s staff as part of legislative mandated program efforts. If you have any questions concerning a dataset please contact History GIS staff at email@example.com. Please reference the dataset in question.
