Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) is a consortium of states working together to provide high-quality summer reading program materials for children at the lowest cost possible for their public libraries.
Utah State Library joined CSLP in 1997 and is the state representative. By way of the State Library’s membership, all Utah public libraries are members of CSLP.
The State Library provides CSLP summer reading manuals, promotional materials and training to certified public libraries throughout Utah. Funding for these materials and training is supported by grant funds under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
