Manuscript Collections

Utah State History’s manuscript collections include original historical documents, such as personal papers, photographs, research notes, organizations’ papers, and oral histories. Search the manuscripts collection in the catalog, finding aids descriptions, or in the Research Center.

City and Telephone Directories

See a list of Utah directories, arranged alphabetically and dated from 1908 to the early 2000s. City and telephone directories are available as reference sources in the Research Center.



See a list of Utah high school and college yearbooks that have been donated to Utah State History. Yearbooks are available for browsing and research in the Research Center.



Most of Utah State History’s newspapers are digitized and online at Utah Digital Newspapers. To see a list of Utah and out-of-state newspapers available on microfilm contact the Research Center.
