Volunteer Recognition Certificate Resources

Thank you for being willing to spread the word about the Lieutenant Governor’s Volunteer Recognition Certificate! Please feel free to use these resources on social media, via email, on websites, and in person!

WHAT IS THE LT. GOVERNOR’S VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION CERTIFICATE?

This is a FREE volunteer recognition resource provided by UServeUtah, the Lt. Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism. Our goal is to make it easier for individuals and organizations across the state to thank their outstanding volunteers for their contributions.

WHO CAN RECEIVE THE CERTIFICATE?

Volunteers! We let the nominators decide what qualifies a volunteer as outstanding. As long as the volunteer is unpaid, and is an on-going volunteer (not a one-time volunteer), they can be nominated.

WHO CAN NOMINATE?

Nominations must be submitted by someone from within the organization where the volunteer is serving. Often, volunteers have served or are serving with multiple organizations. If this is the case, it can be specified in the “narrative” portion of the nomination form.

IS IT REALLY THAT EASY?

Yes! The nomination should only take a few minutes to submit, and UServeUtah does the rest! You can request that the certificate be mailed to the nominator or the recipient, and certificates will be received within 2 weeks of submission.
