Cobbler Cookoff
August 25, 12pm-3pm, OGDEN
The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd

Volunteers are needed to help set-up and clean-up for the Cobbler Cookoff. You can also share your best cobbler and taste others! Proceeds benefit the Shepherd’s Bowl – the weekly Wednesday community lunch.

Days for Girls
August 24, 1pm-4pm, MIDWAY
Join the monthly work day at My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe to make items for Days for Girls feminine hygiene kits. Volunteers can sew, serge, cut out, iron and/or assemble the items for the kits. Supplies are provided!

Face Painting for Children
August 24-25, various shifts, PROVO
Fresh Start Ventures

Volunteers are needed to do some fun face painting! Pick a shift, and come have fun!

Fun on the Farm
August 23-25, various shifts, MANTI
Sanpete County Fair Grounds
Volunteers are needed for various shifts from the 23rd to 25th. Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated!

Joshy’s House of Hope Summer Yard Cleanup
August 25, 9am – 2pm, AMERICAN FORK
Join us to help Joshy’s House of Hope get their yard and parking lot looking fresh for the summer!

Summit Challenge Cycling 2018
August 25,  5am – 6pm, PARK CITY
National Ability Center

The Summit Challenge is a fully supported road ride of 16,52, 84 or 102 miles through the scenic mountains and valleys of Summit andWasatch counties. Proceeds benefit programs at the National Ability Center. Volunteers will help stuff swag bags, cheer on or direct riders, help give riders an extra push up steep areas, check inriders, help at the event village, set up, clean up and more. Families,individuals and volunteer groups welcome!

Thompson Recovery Home
August 24, ROOSEVELT
Volunteers are needed to help convert the old Thompson School into a men’s recovery home. Projects will include painting, hanging cabinets, cleaning light fixtures, cleaning windows, vacuuming, making beds, decorating, organizing, making meal plans, and more! Come help when you can!

Tiny Home Showcase
August 23-25, various shifts, OREM
Fresh Start Ventures

Fresh Start Ventures is looking for volunteers to assist with the Tiny Home Showcase that will take place August 22-25 at the University Place (Mall) outdoors in the Orchard. Volunteers will work booths answering questions, assisting with the event including the general public, speakers, music, and tiny homes. Volunteers can choose to work a 3 hour shift on any day.
