Arts Project A or B

To enable organizations and groups, whose primary mission may or may not be the arts, to develop and provide unique arts-based projects for the general public. Project A activities must occur between July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019, or Project B activities must occur between Jan 1 – June 30, 2019.  Funding Range: $500 to $2,000

Arts Project B will open August 6, 2018

Arts Learning Grants

Arts Learning Grants Funding for interactive and comprehensive arts education-based projects where a qualified teaching artist(s) works with a specific community population, organization, or school. Funding range $2,000-$7,000. Deadline:   March 23, 2018 5:00 p.m.

Teacher-Initiated-Project (TIP)
Application is now a professional development opportunity and has been moved to the Arts Education Program.

Local Arts Agencies Grant

For designated Local Arts Agencies (also known as Local Arts Councils) to provide general operating support to ensure that the cultural, civic, educational and economic benefits of the arts are accessible to every community in the state.
Funding Range: Up to $15,000

Arts General Operating Support Grants

Arts General Operating Support grants are for arts organizations with paid staff that have received 3+ years of funding from UA&M since 2012. There are no tiers in this category this year. Organizations may not request more than 5% of their general operating budget.

Museum Grants

To improve museum best practices through care for and management of collections, exhibition development, and increased public access.
Museums General Operating Support: General operating support grants for museums open more than 1,000 hours per year, and have 2+ years of non-consecutive funding from UA&M. Deadline: Closed.  Guidelines

Capacity Building Grant

To help build the capacity of nonprofit organizations whose primary mission is arts-related through funding general operating expenses. The guidelines below are from last year, but can give you an idea of the kinds of questions that we ask. The new guidelines will be for FY19, and will be available at the beginning of May.
Funding Range: Up to $2,500

Folk Arts Funding

Folk Arts Preservation Grant Guidelines
Folk Arts Cultural Preservation Grants assist individual artists, organizations, and cultural communities in the documentation, preservation, and presentation of traditional art forms. Deadline: September 7, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. MST

Folk Arts Apprenticeship Grant  Guidelines
Folk Arts Apprenticeship scholarships support master folk artists to pass on cultural traditions to selected students. Funds up to $2,500. Deadline: September 7, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. MST
